Our Executive Advisors

An award-winning speaker, author, facilitator and trainer, Dawn Frail brings over 30 years’ evolving leadership experience to her position as an Executive Advisor at PEO Leadership. As an adept professional in the corporate and not-for-profit worlds, she has also accrued two decades of knowledge and skills in the financial and IT sectors.

In her role as an entrepreneur, Dawn founded Athena Executive Education Inc. and the Athena Business School. She also established the International Women’s Leadership Project™ in 2008, providing women in business with intensive training that equips them to make a quantum leap forward in their careers.

Until 2006, as the national, internal consultant for ADP Canada, Dawn was a driving force in continuous improvement in training and development, work processes and the work environment.

Aside from Dawn’s extensive field experience, she also earned a Master’s Degree in Leadership from the University of Guelph, diplomas in Adult Training and Development and Computer Programming, as well as certification in Managing Organizational Transition. Amongst her published works are The Ruby Report; How Organizations Can Profit by Promoting Women Leaders, The Ten Commandments of Ethical Leadership™ and 10 Principles Every CEO Must Know to Play and Win.

A working wife, mother and grandmother, Dawn has successfully developed four boys into productive, grown men and relishes her time with her two granddaughters. Additionally, she serves as a Director on the District 60 Executive Committee for Toastmasters International and is a fully certified Myers-Briggs Master Practitioner and a 20-year member of the Canadian Association of Professional Speakers.

In what spare time she has, Dawn is a devoted dog-owner and avid reader.
