Introducing the Legacy Council
PEO Leadership | Innovators Alliance is pleased to introduce the Legacy Council, a private forum for a select group of members who want to step beyond the day-to-day of running a business and think more deeply about the decisions that will shape their long-term legacy across capital, family, and enterprise.
This peer-driven experience is designed for leaders who recognize that building wealth is one challenge and stewarding it thoughtfully over time is another.
The Experience
The Legacy Council convenes a maximum of 15 members, three times each year, for an afternoon of candid, high-level discussion followed by dinner.
Each session brings together a small group of peers to explore the forces shaping capital markets and to engage in open conversation around the real decisions members are navigating. These may include portfolio concentration, liquidity, succession, investment strategy, and the complexities of managing family wealth and responsibility.
At the centre of the experience is peer exchange. Members will have the opportunity to bring forward aspects of their capital strategy or portfolio positioning for thoughtful discussion and challenge. From time to time, an invited expert may join to contribute perspective where it meaningfully enhances the conversation.
This is not a passive learning environment. It is a room for thoughtful, engaged leaders who are willing to both contribute and be challenged.
Program Objectives
- Strengthen decision-making around personal and family capital
- Broaden perspective across asset classes, structures, and strategies
- Provide a trusted forum to test thinking on complex and often private decisions
Eligibility
- Active member of PEO Leadership | Innovators Alliance
- Demonstrated experience managing or overseeing significant personal or family capital, generally in excess of $10MM CAD
Inaugural Session Dates
- September 18, 2026
- January 14, 2027
- April 15, 2027
Annual Fee
- $500 for PEO Leadership | Innovators Alliance members
- $1,500 for Leadership Community members
Members are expected to attend at least two of the three annual sessions.
