Dundee Staunton has had an extensive career as an entrepreneur, having owned and managed businesses across various industries, including paper converting, specialty metal component design and manufacturing, confectionery manufacturing, and market research.  His approach was to invest in growing companies with partners who were seeking a combination of capital and management expertise.  He has also provided advisory services to firms in marine manufacturing, waste equipment manufacturing, and software development and sales.

Dundee has served on several public and private boards, including Helix Circuits Inc., Wittke Waste Equipment, Waldec Holdings Inc., Taylor & Grant Specialties Ltd., and Decision Point Research.  From 2013 to 2016, he worked in the offices of TerraNova Partners, a private equity firm in Toronto, as Entrepreneur-in-Residence, assisting in identifying and evaluating investment opportunities.  Dundee currently provides advisory services through Esscor Sales Limited.

He also served for fifteen years as a Director, and recently as Vice-Chair, of The Mosaic Institute, a charitable organization which worked with communities to develop programs and educational tools to dismantle prejudice.

Dundee was a member of Innovators Alliance from 2000 to 2022.  He served on its Board of Directors for several years and was Chair from 2013-2016.
