Our Executive Advisors

Shelley brings over 35 years of experience as a business owner, entrepreneur and consultant. She worked in a variety of business sectors including consumer packaged goods, manufacturing, franchise/licensing and distribution.

Shelley has been a CEO and advised privately owned Canadian global organizations for most of her career. She began her career in marketing at P&G.  She was President of a Canadian national beverage company for 15 years she pioneered and patented ground-breaking packaging technology.  Shelley was President of a North American franchise business where she developed a very successful International strategy which tripled revenues and profits. Shelley was President of an International importing company that brought products in from over 30 different countries. She also had her own licensing business where she developed and executed a very successful brand in Canada out of its traditional markets. Shelley served as an executive advisor for the Business Development Bank of Canada working with high growth firms.

Shelley currently serves on the board of OCADU CO, is Treasurer of the Toronto chapter of the International Women’s Forum and is an Executive in Residence for the Ivey School of business. She currently consults on a variety of projects and coaches one-on-one with senior executives.

Shelley earned her Honour’s Bachelor’s degree from the Ivey School of Business, Western. University. Shelley has two adult sons. She is passionate about art, is an avid reader and loves to travel.
