Shelley brings over 35 years of experience as a business leader with a diverse background in various sectors, including consumer packaged goods, manufacturing, franchise/licensing, and distribution. Throughout her career, Shelley has held key leadership roles, including CEO positions and advisory roles for privately owned Canadian and various global organizations. She began her career in marketing at P&G and subsequently served as the President of a Canadian national beverage company for 15 years, where she introduced pioneering packaging technology.

Shelley also served as the President of a North American franchise business, where her strategic acumen led to a substantial increase in revenues and profits through a successful international expansion. Additionally, she led an international importing company that sourced products from over 30 countries and ran her own licensing business, successfully developing a Canadian brand outside its traditional markets. Beyond her corporate roles, Shelley has provided executive advisory services for the Business Development Bank of Canada, assisting high-growth firms.

Currently, Shelley is actively engaged in various roles, including serving on the board of OCADU CO, acting as Treasurer for the Toronto chapter of the International Women’s Forum, and holding the position of Executive in Residence at the Ivey School of Business. She also offers consulting services on diverse projects and provides one-on-one coaching to senior executives.

Shelley holds an Honours Bachelor’s degree from the Ivey School of Business at Western University and is the proud mother of two adult sons. Outside of her professional pursuits, she is passionate about art, enjoys reading, and has a love for travel.
