In recent weeks, the Government of Canada has put together a COVID-19 Stimulus Package to help businesses through this difficult time. There is significant confusion as to the details of the Programs and Subsidies as well as the qualification criteria. PEO Leadership’s Educational Partner, RSM Canada, will help us understand the Stimulus Package more clearly.

Clara Pham, Partner, National Tax, RSM Canada

Clara practices in all areas of domestic and cross-border corporate income tax law, with an emphasis on international tax, mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations and financing transactions. She has experience with a broad range of taxpayers, including public, private, multinational, private-equity owned and venture-capital funded.

Clara completed a clerkship at the Tax Court of Canada in 2012 and was Director of Tax at a major Canadian public taxpayer prior to joining RSM. She is a frequent writer and speaker on domestic and international tax topics.

 

Danny Ladouceur, Partner, Tax, RSM Canada

Danny Ladouceur, partner, leads the firm’s tax credits and incentives practice. Committed to excellence, quality, and achieving measurable results Danny has established a strong professional network with government and clients. Danny also possesses extensive experience at the senior executive level within the field of corporate finance, strategic planning, and advisory services in the SR&ED and government grants.

Prior to dedicating his career to helping business innovators, he held senior leadership roles in industry, including vice president of finance & IT at Signature Vacations, and prior to that, vice president & CFO at FCI Broadband, a Rogers Communications company. Prior to joining the Rogers Group of companies, Danny also held senior finance positions at Labatt Communications where he was involved in the acquisition of the Toronto Argonauts, the Toronto Blue Jays and the Rogers Centre.
